Nightmare in the movie: In the movie yes it present because like Lima and Mumbai the city is very poor, there are slums, child traffic, etc.

Impossible Dream: The impossible dream in the movie is it for Jamal, the man who plays who wants to be a millionaire? And don’t imagine that he will won 20 million rupees. Before he is very poor and he don’t imagine that he would have 20 million rupees, for his is a dream.

For me the most important message or impression from the movie is that you never give up, we can see that in the film in the climax, when Jamal won 20 million rupees, he don’t imagine that and he don’t give up In the game, when the tv host question to Jamal if he want to pass to next question he say yes, already is he don’t know the question.

So this need Lima, the people poor cant give up and go to the next question of his life.

In the final scene, we see Salim and the choice – filing the bathtub with money, etc. why does he make this choice? Because, he knows that Javed gonna kill him, if he let Latika escape. But
Salim doesn’t matter, because he only wants to redemp all the bad things he did to Latika. Giving his car keys to her and telling her to go and find Jamal, because Jamal would never give up until find her and never separate again.

Is ethical decision making possible when one must make choices based on survival? Do seemingly “bad”. Choices make a person bad?
When it comes to survival, a bad action can not be judged as such, what happens is we do not know the reason for it and are used to make judgments, because it is easy to criticize, judge, and thus get to evaluate others; negative-ban, valuing their actions or their conditions and issue an opinion or ruling on them thinking that we have authority to do so, and it is so no one knows what anyone else in certain situations sometimes put us at a crossroads between what we do and what they actually do, but this does not make us bad, I’d say that makes us victims of circumstance.
There are people who choose to ignore the rules are kept, choose rape, steal and kill. It is an item on that is, some do, some do not, but nobody likes to be raped, robbed or murdered or, as in war, are killed thousands of people, and always wins is convinced he did it to restore peace, but to win, had to wipe out everything that happened in front … So you steal, to give to others, feels that it is bad because this is not helping anything, in moments of despair as people seek a solution What are they doing: Good or Evil?, I would say that neither one nor the other, but are trying to survive, and something that can not be avoided, is to seek as, where a solution to what we face, but in extreme cases, if justified, because it is very different from that does it for evil, in these situations is pressing needs, which may blind the reason, and only think to continue living.

In Peru, there is a predominance of poor and minority population where wealth is concentrated, causing a marked social polarity. That also is seen in the movie, this causes corruption, indifference, physical abuse, social impairment. This leads to generation with unemployment, lack of resources, malnutrition, crime, health problems, illiteracy, etc … In many families the children have to work instead of studying and living his childhood, but unfortunately can not give that “luxury “because they need to work to help the family to eat.
I think we should make political institutions, promote social and economic sustainable development to ensure the basic rights of every Peruvian, we must build a political system that encourages citizen participation, who cares about the vast majority who do not own anything, but are part of this country and deserve better opportunities. We need to promote decentralized and responsible development of our territory, innovation and long-term investments.
Everything must be aimed at improving the quality of life, to try to reduce malnutrition in children, to seek incentives to improve their income.
We must summon the participation of private enterprise and of society because no one can remain indifferent, we need to have more people aware, to see the reality of our country, that should carry us to realize that there are some issues that if it can not be solved, if you can be creating a mindset that we are all responsible for keeping many people continue to live in subhuman conditions, so it is necessary to create a culture of conscience, only so we will have a better country with better opportunities for all, the poor are stigmatized, and should not be so.

In the final scene, we see Salim and the choice – filing the bathtub with money, etc. why does he make this choice?
Salim did this because he wanted to retract himself about all he done with Latika and his brother Jamal, that is the reason why he went to the bathtub and he indirectly killed himself. he knew that he was supposed to be kill if he helped Latika to escaped. The best way to save the other people’s life (his brother Jamal, Latika, etc) was kill the boss.
Whoever, to kill someone for save other people’s life it’s good.
What happen in India is very similar to what happen in Peru because:
    – Both places have a lot of slum town, both are very poor in some places of the country, i think that the causes of this phenomena is that the people don’t have job and they didn’t study while they were children.
    – We can sold this with the help of the government. Because, they can give some money and build new houses for the poor people in Peru or the India.

Is the title related to the movie?

I believe there is a relation between the title and the movie, because the title is “SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE” and it deals with the surprise somone gets when he sees that a slumdug has become a millionaire. This is caused by prejudice, people can’t believe that an uneducated young boy from the slums could be able to win a knowledge contest. In the movie this is shown when the police officers are torturating Jamal because they say he cheated, and they would’nt believe when he said he didn’t. The hoster is also a cause of this problem, because he is very hostile with Jamal at first, he ca´nt believe what is happening, he keeps insulting him and telling him he’ll lose, etc.

We can see this in Lima, because the people is so prejudiced that they discriminate other people. They won’t hire people if they come from the mountains, they actually think, these people are ignorant. But no. One of the most rich persons in lima, is the “king of potatoes”, and he comes from there. some people can’t accept this fact, and state his money earned illegaly.

As I said before, this title deals with predujice and discrimination tto people from the slums, and how they make their money.
